We are looking for a new team member to join a busy sales office in our manufacturing business, selling mainly directly telephone/email.
The role involves assisting in the day to day running of the office through providing excellent customer service and high levels of liaison with the relevant team members to ensure customer enquiries are dealt with to a high standard, orders are processed and despatched promptly and accurately, and after sales issues are settled without delay. Must be computer literate and have excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- First line answering of phone.
- Greeting and dealing with visitors
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email and webform.
- Taking orders from customers
- Processing orders onto the system
- Processing customer payments
- Pass sales/works orders to production.
- Liaise with production and despatch regarding realistic lead times.
- Obtain quotes for delivery to non-UK locations.
- Deal with courier non-delivery and tracking issues
- Arrange collections/returns labels for customers.
- Process returns and liaise with production over any action required.
- Raise credit requests for customer returns.
- Assist in marketing initiatives.
- Deal with suppliers/orders
- Cover other office staff when absent.
- Processing Import/Export
